Since I cancelled the OTAL prequel, I'll summarize the story of Olocoh and Leif for those who happen to read this.
Leif is Owen's distant ancestor. He was a boastful Scottish warrior and a womanizer. His brother, Olocoh was executed as a baby, because he was believed to be a warlock, and his mother was executed with him for giving birth to him.
One day, a necromancer named Alice brought Olocoh back as a vampire. Vampire Olocoh didn't hesitate to bite her the moment his head was out of the ground. She was the first of many to join his army of vampires. Eventually, Olocoh got sick of being weak to the sun, and stole the magical heart of a demon and used it to replace his own, making the only way you could possibly kill him and his vampires a clean stab to the heart.
Things happened, Leif gathered an army, there was a battle, Olocoh ripped out Leif's heart, but not before Leif could pierce Olocoh's, which killed him, but also returned the other vampires' weakness to the sun, so since the battle took place in the day, they all died.
